Craig
Before opening the Craig Allen Agency, for the past eight years Craig has been working directly in the Atlantic Canadian marketing industry as part of his role as Director of Marketing at Evolving Solutions and previously as Account Manager at Vaka Strategic Marketing. At Evolving Solutions, Craig led much of the marketing, branding & sales strategy for the firm’s regional web business products & services including the launching of the firm's flagship "Big Santo" product. Also at Evolving Solutions he spent a considerable amount of time working in the emerging “Social Media & Web 2.0” space learning how to maximize the power of applications such as Facebook, Twitter and Blogs. At Vaka, Craig led account teams in developing and executing marketing strategies for a diverse range of Maritime-based firms seeking to expand their product & service offerings in regional, national and international markets. A central part of his role throughout his career has been leading client services, developing strategic marketing plans & building strategic alliances. Great copy writing, fresh ideas and strict attention to detail have also become hallmarks of his skill set as well.
Craig also has an extensive background in international business and export strategy including past work experience at the World Trade Centre Atlantic Canada in Halifax and in 2002 became the first New Brunswick resident awarded with the Certified International Trade Professional Designation (CITP) signifying the highest level of trade certification available in Canada. In 2001, Craig graduated from the International Business program at the NBCC St. Andrews preceded by graduating from UNB Fredericton with a Bachelor of Arts degree (Majors in Cultural Anthropology & English) in 1998.
Craig currently lives with his girlfriend Heather Murray at their residence on Germain Street in Saint John. An avid music fan, Craig can often be spotted catching live entertainment in the city's Uptown core each weekend. In his spare time, Craig also enjoys fly fishing, cooking and downhill skiing.
